Welcome to Carousel Concerts
Carousel Concerts, by name, reflects the nature of our programming: Fast-paced, bright, energetic, fun. This is music presented at the highest artistic level with an obligation to our audience to not merely perform, but engage. A carousel is a lovely thing to watch. But even more fun to hop aboard and enjoy the ride. This is what Carousel Concerts is about.
Carousel Concerts began as a concert series in Boca Raton, Florida presenting widely varied concerts featuring classical chamber music, folk, musical theater, and jazz. Carousel Concerts soon expanded to presenting concerts in venues outside of Florida. The Dallas Symphony, Carnegie Hall and even The Vatican have engaged our services for theatrical concert event support and planning.
During every local concert series, guest artists were featured in school programs for students who came to the theater for daytime concerts. While presenting much of the music from the evening shows, students were offered insight into the music and the lives of the musicians. Week-long educational residencies were also sponsored.
Now based in Portland, Oregon, Carousel Concerts produces concert events throughout the Northwest and Internationally. Currently, we are in pre-production for MASS The Bernstein Centenary Project and AMERICAN SINGER INTERNATIONAL in Sweden. And currently presenting concerts programs in small venues including resorts, senior retirement communities and even back yard gardens.
