Douglas Webster has stood alone onstage before audiences at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, with The Boston Pops and orchestras in Dallas, Denver, Portland, and forty-six of the United States. Before leaving Portland to reprise
his role as Valjean in regional productions of Les Misérables, he will present a concert of favorite songs from Broadway and The American Songbook This afternoon of ‘classic’ Broadway singing will be held at a ‘classic’ downtown venue: The Old Church. The program will conclude at 3:00 pm

Dedicated to his audiences who may be unable to travel to concert locations, Douglas has recently made himself available for private performances at senior retirement communities in the Northwest. Winner of the NY Joy in Singing and Concerts Artist Guild Awards, Douglas Webster has performed with The Boston Pops, The National Symphony and across United States and Internationally as guest artist with symphony orchestras. Onstage, he made his Broadway debut in the cast of Les Miserables (Imperial Theater) and has led over twenty premiere productions of Leonard Bernstein's MASS including those at Carnegie Hall, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania, The Vatican and The Dallas Symphony (JFK Commemoration Production). Locally, he has performed with the Oregon Symphony (Bernstein MASS), Third Angle (Copland The Tender Land), BRAVO Vancouver (Handel Messiah), Stumptown Stages (9 to 5 - the Musical) and Broadway Rose (Les Miserables, 2009 Drammy Award - Lead Actor in a Musical).
As a concert recitalist, he joined Hollywood pianist, Lincoln Mayorga for a Community Concerts tour spanning two seasons and forty-six states.
Following this performance, Douglas Webster returns to Les Miserables February - May, 2014 for the co-production with Arkansas Repertory Theater and Phoenix Theatre.
